Since no two outdoor spaces are identical, every CCTV mast is made to order. The character of the mast follows the character of the location.
For natural environments, a mast in chestnut roundwood keeps the round, organic appearance of the material. This is the version we made for RCN Het Grote Bos, a holiday park in a wooded area where the cameras should feel part of the surroundings.
For projects with a more refined and architectural character, a sleeker mast in oak is a suitable choice. At Bospark Ede this version was designed to match the wooden street lights and path lighting already on site, and it carries number plate recognition for additional security for guests.
A camera position can also be integrated into another element of the outdoor space. At Minicamping ‘t Boomgaardje we equipped a GRUPO bat hotel with cameras, so one structure offers shelter for bats and a mounting point for surveillance.
A wooden CCTV pole comes into its own when it is part of a larger plan. The pole can be designed in the same style and wood species as street lights such as the STRATO and path lighting such as the EYE, so the camera mast reads as part of the lighting scheme rather than as an addition to it.
