The former VMBO school, De Westerpoort in Tholen, underwent a major renovation and expansion to evolve into a modern Brede School.
This transformation meant merging various educational and support services under one roof, with the aim of creating an all-encompassing learning environment for growing children.
Within the Brede School we now find four elementary schools – De Eben Haëzer School, De Regenboog, De Geluksvogel and Ter Tolne – in addition to various partners such as GGD, Library, Juvent Youth Care, Zo Kinderopvang, child physiotherapy and speech therapy.
This synergetic cooperation allows the schools to make use of shared facilities and expertise, while at the same time maintaining their own identity, in line with the motto “In Eigenheid Samen”.
With GKB Realisatie as the executing party and agency RIS on board, the placement of STRATOs gave the school a lighting solution that fits perfectly with the vision of Brede School Tholen, both functionally and in terms of design.
