Beach entrance Castricum aan Zee

The Castricum municipality chose a sustainable future by the sea. Because the lamppost is located in the salty sea air of the North Sea, materials were chosen that can withstand this very well: the ICON lamppost is made of Accoya, with a guaranteed life span of no less than 50 years. This mast is supplied without a luminaire, giving lighting specialist Maas & Haagoort the space to apply their own Artera luminaire: a design that excels in sleekness and functionality.

The strength of this solution lies in the combination of these two products: high-quality, durable wood and a fixture that is resistant to moisture, dust, chemicals and corrosion. Together they form a design that is not only aesthetic and innovative, but also future-proof. Exactly as we at Timberlab believe lighting should be: sustainable, honest and with respect for people and nature.
