Our range of fauna facilities is the result of a collaboration between Timberlab and an ecological design firm, Faunus Nature Creations. This unique synergy of functionality, nature inclusiveness and design offers diverse application possibilities, including gardens, parks, natural areas and campgrounds.
Our fauna facilities comply with the Nature Conservation Act, where mitigation and compensation measures are essential to minimize impact on fauna. Various situations fall under this law, such as habitat preservation during the demolition of buildings with habitats of protected species. In collaboration with Faunus Nature Creations, our fauna facilities comply with this legislation by providing alternative habitats for bats, birds, and insects to limit negative effects.
In addition to providing a habitat for bats, Timberlab also offers bat-friendly lighting. For all our outdoor lighting, we provide amber-colored LED modules. These LED modules, with a wavelength between 580 and 600nm, minimize disturbance in bat behavior and thus align with ecologically responsible policies.
