At Timberlab, we select our wood species based on quality, appearance, durability and a long lifespan. For our wooden uplights, we mainly use chestnut and oak, depending on the chosen fixture.
Both wood species have a natural appearance and are suitable for long-term outdoor use. They can be placed close to or partly in the ground and will weather naturally over time, giving the fixture a calm and timeless look.
All our fixtures are available with FSC or PEFC certification, contributing to a sustainable and responsible outdoor space.
Just like our other wooden outdoor lighting, our uplights are available in various light colours. Depending on the product and LED configuration, you can choose from 2,200K, 2,700K, 4,000K or amber light.
This makes it possible to create the right atmosphere for each project, from warm and subtle accent lighting to brighter functional illumination. The right light colour and beam angle help highlight trees, façades, signs, sculptures and other outdoor elements without overpowering the space.
